ECYD Youth Ministry

St. Albert the Great recognizes the importance of providing pre-teens and teens with engaging games, activities, and discussions to build friendships and grow their faith in Jesus Christ.

REGISTRATION NOW OPEN FOR YOUTH IN GRADES 5 to 12.

ECYD Catholic Youth Ministry: Who is ECYD? They are an international Catholic association of adolescents. What does ECYD stand for? Encounters; ECYD offers adolescents encounters with themselves, Jesus Christ and with others that can transform their lives. Convictions; From these encounters, the adolescent then form convictions that become pillars in their lives. Your Decisions; These convictions impel them to make decisions in their lives.

St. Albert the Great Parish is excited for the new Youth Ministry Program which includes aligning with Challenge and Conquest two Official ECYD Programs. Their Catholic Curriculum fosters a deep relationship with Jesus Christ and forms adolescents as Christian leaders to transform culture.

The first part of our program this year is training our Team Leaders – Youth in grades 9-12 which started September 18th and goes until December. These youth once trained will then lead the youth in grades 5 to 12, every Thursday starting January 15th, 2026 through to May.  With special events planned for all registered youth on October 30th & December 11, 2025.
