Preparing for a Wedding

For Catholics, the Sacrament of Marriage, or Holy Matrimony, is a public sign that one gives oneself totally to this other person.  It is also a public statement about God: the loving union of husband and wife speaks of family values and also God’s values.

To arrange a marriage at St. Albert the Great, six to nine months notice is required.  Couples who are planning a wedding in the parish are expected to regularly worship with a Catholic Community and participate in a Marriage Preparation Program.

Please contact the office at  403 257 6054  to arrange an initial appointment with the priest.

You can download the Wedding form using this link  SATG Wedding Form.
This will provide information to the priest required for your wedding.  Complete it and submit it to the email address at the bottom of the form.

Our next marriage preparation course is scheduled October 24th & 25th. To register for this course please click here: 2025 Marriage Preparation Course *Only fill out the course registration  if you have been directed to by your parish priest.
